AFM Mod how will this change..

Postby rally4life » Fri Mar 28, 2008 3:33 pm

I have searched this topic all 10 pages and found alot of info but not for the question I have.
It has been suggested to me to release the spring 2 to 3 clicks in the afm to allow the slide to move more freely to improve throtle responce.
This will change the fuel mix but "more air more fuel more power"??
Your thoughts would be good thanks

Yes you can get gains by adjusting it,

but it has nothing to do with letting in more air, as the restriction ( if any )
will not change.

It is basically changing the whole mixture across the range,

dont fiddle with it unless you monitor mixture,
as it will feel the best when it's really lean, and will go well,
but not for long till it melts a pistonn etc etc if you go to far.
