Hey man,
came with 2 snail horns, a black box thing and a wiring loom with probably a good 6 - 8 wires that need homes :)
Looks like a mission!

Any ideas?

Probably just a relay box. Does each horn have 2 terminals on it?

Ok so this is the set...

Image

Im guessing this is the Relay box?

It has an attached black cable - Im also guessing earth, and a random unknown blue one

Image

This looks like the power cord? Do I connect this to the battery?

Image

These are obviously the ones that connect to the horns themselves... but what about random bluey over there?

Image

This lil bugger...

Image

If anyone can make sense of this it would be awesome!

Thanks

It'll just be a relay box I'd guess. Since you have terminals on the horns like that then just hook them up with a relay, or they'll probably be right through factory wiring

Find you horn, see if it has 2 wires and hook up to one of them.

If you only have one horn on the car and want to hook both of these up then I'd be using a relay

So I may be able to cut out the middle man (Relay Box) and just hook these bad boys up to the factory wires?

If you have one factory horn then you can probably just put one of these in its place. If you wat to fit both then go for a relay. They are only about $8 from Repco

Failing that you can muck around trying to work out the box you got with it.

I dont even know what a relay is or what it does to be honest... I'm just gunna have a play tomorrow - Failing that I'll take it to a shop, If I was to buy a relay from Repco what would I ask for?

Thanks for all your help! I'm off to sleep now...

Well, I gave it a go and got a tiny bit of noise out of them when connected to the wires which were already there... however when I add the relay in to the equation, i get nothing... does anyone have any idea or know anyone that could help?
thanks.
