96 supra rz speed cut., in need of removal :)

i just got my hands on a supra rz, it already has 320kmh speedo but i want to take it to the track in the near future and it has a 190kmh speed cut that just wont work for me!, any easy way of fixing, tricking, removing it?

im prob completely wrong but, if the speed cut works off the speedo (which i assume is electronic) put a switch in the wire so you can effectively stop the speedo from working, thus no speed cut???????????? but odds are that wont work.

but no need for speedo on at the track anyways imo

Yes that does work, but the check engine light will also come on and it will log a speed sensor code.
If it goes into limp mode or not I dont know, but doubt it for that.

Best to get or make a speed cut defender.

No definatly not.

Fitted one through work once, genuine TRD one too, but the speed limiter was still at 180ish.

IIRC Some did, the cable driven type which generated the signal for the ECU did, but with the electronic ones the signal is generated by the geabox sender, so the speedo can't change it.
