Need help, have had motor running but timing was way out according to light,

Have tried everything swapping sensors and wires cant seem to get it running right.

Any help would be grateful

have you set the triggers and offset etc etc correctly in the ecu programming?

If youre trying to get it running on the base map supplied
(which has the trigger offset set at 60 i think)try increasing the trigger offset in about 5 degree increments and rechecking it with the light.
youll probably find it will be up around the 70-75deg mark

when we had it running we had to swap the cam sensore wires around so the sensor ground was hooked up to the sensor signal, also think i may have had the igniter wires around the wrong way..

Would the trigger offset change depending on motors etc? because my mates car that is identical runs perfect straight off the basemap, have swapped computers also..

Im in mt wellington if anyone is local i could suss the some beers maybe to come play
