This is the dash below :

Basically if someone can tell me what wire is labelled as compared to its colour.I have all the plugs and a small section of the loom but I have absolutely no idea what each wire is for to convert in my car..

Anyone with this DASH in their car , can you please help me ?

Thanks..

Whoa.. that is cool... :D

Might be talking crap but its worth a shot...

Im doing an engine swap at the moment on my mr2... now im putting in an engine which is 7 years young and two generations different, and while the location of all the wires have changed the color of them has not.

Might be worth checking a bgb or online article for a toyota car that has more online documentation and seeing if it stacks up? Perhaps they have a standard color for set things?

I could be talking complete Sh!te... but its worth a shot if you have hit a dead end maybe...

Either way dont turn anything on until youve checked voltages etc... dont want to fry that lovely dash :D

Im sure someone in the know will comment soon and call BS if im talking out of my ar5e!

Cars are from different markets, ie i don't think the SA corollas are made in japan. This could well make a difference on wiring loom colours.

Are these the threads you are referring to?

viewtopic.php?t=55429&highlight=digital+dash

An earlier one:
viewtopic.php?t=46556&highlight=digital+dash

Having flicked through them both the opinion was that they are somewhat unreliable, which is why most threads I found are about going from a digital to a analogue dash. Good luck!
