Some helpful stuff here, including diagrams and pin-outs.

im doing the same thing but using an aftermarket ecu.
Ive kept the standard fusebox etc and am using the stock loom.
Have removed the wires that go between the bluetop and ecu and fitted the wires out of the silvertop loom that go between the silvertop and ecu.

You will want to use the starter solenoid out of the silvertop loom.

The injector power feed for the bluetop is behind the drivers headlight.
The fuel pump wire goes to the bluetop ecu, this will need to be run to the afm.

If you pull the covers off both the ecu's you will see each pin has a label such as Fc ( fuel pump), E1-E02 (earths) etc.

The ae82 wiring diagram on club4ag is a bit off as its for the usa version. The silvertop one seems correct.
