Where in Auckland to get manifold flanges machined flat?...

Postby 1e-pwr » Mon Apr 28, 2008 5:50 pm

Ok, question is pretty much in header line but anyway... Ive made an exhaust manifold for a 5efte Im building and the head side flange has a slight warp in it so needs to be machined flat, can anyone recommend where to get this done that wont cost moonbeams? I went into an engine recon place today and they quoted $300 to do the job, seems pretty steep to me...

In hindsight I shouldve bolted this to a spare head I have to stop it warping but hey its my first attempt so you live n learn...
