Looking into running a coil on plug setup on a silvertop.

Does anyone know of a set of coils from another car that will fit the silvertop.

do you remember what needed modifying?

The echo's still fairly new so may be hard to track some of them down.

I have a set of 1NZ-FE, 1AZ-FE and 1ZZ-FE ones at work, have yet to try them on my silver top though, I'll try to remember to check on the weekend.

Considering the heat issues with coilOnPlug setups and the minimal benefits I think ill just go with a pair of mitsi wasted spark coils.

Ive read you can just use generic leads when going with wasted spark coils, does it matter not having the tube on it? just wondering about the leads wearing where they come out of the tubes in the head

if your using the 4g63 coils then you can use the leads too, just cut some of the rubber boot off the top to fit, i have evo8 leads on my blacktop,
