4age manual vs auto driveshafts - similar but different

Ha - yeah had a little hassle with this today

For those who care... yes AE101 4age auto driveshafts will fit into a manual geabox.. however!!! Swap the hanger bearing bracket across from the manual shaft.
The auto bracket is offset by about 5mm and wont bolt to the block with the driveshaft in the manual gearbox OR if you bolt the bracket up first the driveshaft won't go into the gearbox because it won't be aligned properly!
1 1/2 hour shagging around to work out what the problem was! Bugger!

I used to think that the orange and green tictacs gave you special powers. The orange ones would make you stronger and the green ones would make you faster. So i used to eat some green ones and run around my lounge as fast as i could, then eat the orange ones and try to pick up the sofa. I wish it were true!

Nothing exciting sorry... just swapped the driveshaft over as I think that was what was making a clunk noise sometimes. I was getting it ready for sale - I could put up with the noise (sort of) but new owner probably wouldn't have liked it.

Ha - just looked at the brackets... one has A/T on it and the other has M/T! Easy to tell what bracket it is!
