TRC / ETCS Removal (1JZ and 2JZ)

Is this as easy as removing the actuator from the throtle body or is there more to it.

Also, for the 2JZ there is a TRC / ETCS plug in the loom. does that need to be plugged in for the engine to run?

Does pulling the TRC fuse not work??

well even if it did work, i was hoping to remove it from the loom.
