Whats that sound? [93 Cynos B]

Postby RTALI8 » Thu Jun 12, 2008 10:29 pm

I took the old Cynos to work yesterday and in the past it has been making a weird Click click click click cluck cluck clunk sound coming from somewhere in the left side of the suspension area. It happens when you drive and turn right. and even turning just a bit right you can hear it. But then turning left or a slight left no sound.

I have taken out the Passenger brake caliper pads and wheel, Cleaned it up, Bleed the brake afterwards, tighten Shocks, struts, lower arms, Engine mount, and it still makes the sound. I dont really know where to look after that, maybe the CV joints has too much side movement?

It sounds dangerous, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Search hasnt really helped me with this situation that Im looking for.

Thanks in advance.

Check engine mounts, especially the rear one.

Boots not split at all, I cant see any grease splatered all up on the firewall or nothing. But there is side movement CV Joints on the gear box passenger side.

I will check the rear engine mount and see how it goes. Thanks
