Brake Booster? or Master cylinder?

Postby metric » Sun Aug 03, 2008 5:34 pm

Have a problem with the brakes on my car, the pedal works fine etc goes in comes out etc

but the brakes are not releasing properly so they stay on and get hotter and hotter untill brake fade is a problem.

A good example is:
Changed to an lsd yesterday, so i gave the rear brakes a going over while they were off. Went for about a twenty minute drive and came home put it in the shed and went to push it forward a bit more and its really hard to push.
Come back an hour later and gave it the same push and it rolled into the tires i had at the front of the shed.

Had this for a while now but was on three brakes and since yesterday its all four?

Anyone got any ideas? thinkin Brake Booster?

It's usually a flexible hose that collapses partially blocking it.
