Oil filter adaptor

Postby TRD_ZERO » Sun Sep 07, 2008 10:54 am

I heard the small ports have a type of threaded tube thing(comes factory) that makes the oil filter sit right in the block is this true? Anyone have pics for me. Im wanting one of these if they are out there as the 20v ones have this adaptor which make it sit so far out.

Yup, bluetop is the same.
just a threaded tube with a hex on it. it screws into the block and the oil filter screws onto it.

Oh ok when i took the adaptor off the 20v it had a threaded tube with a hex nut type thing on it but no thread past it to put a oil filter on. So the small ports and blue tops have thread past the hex bit so an oil filter can go straight on and sit directly on the block no problems?
