Hilux Surf outer CV joint removal

What holds the CV axle stub into the hub? Is there a similar setup as the drive shaft and female end of CV joint held in by circlip?
Have removed dust cap and undone small bolt and washer threaded into end of axle there is a small amount of play but not sure if it just requires some persuasion or if more has to be removed?

Take the 6 bolts off around the outside and I think there is a circlip in behind

And if its got the taper bits in behind the nuts, you gotta give the outside a good whack with a hammer to make them pop out. Best way, leave the nuts on a little bit otherwise they shoot across the room And it saves you from bashing the thread with a hammer and making more work for yourself
