Oil Squirters

Postby AE82 FXGT » Tue Oct 21, 2008 12:56 pm

Hey all, did a quick search but couldn't find anything.

The oil squirters that bolt to the block just above the crank on a newer gze, do they take copper washers on both sides of the squirters?

I took the block to engine rebuilders to get the machine work done and left the squirters in there, when he gave everything back they were out.

Help is appreciated

no copper washers

I thought it was a bit weird not having anything, but if both surfaces are flat it should seal. And both surfaces should be flat as toyota would of made sure.

Sweet, I already chucked the crank in, then stopped and was like hmmm.

I didn't want to take it out chuck them in and then find it doesn't need them let alone any other clearance issues that may have appeared.

Thanks Bazda
