Celica GTR 4WS Front Steering Rack

Well i took my celica in to get its WOF and failed badly on the front steering rack being absoloutly shot and the something to do with the suspension, either the struts or the relay system.

My question if i get a new steering rack from another 5th gen celica, does it have to be from a 4ws celica or can it be from any 5th gen celica?

Also how hard are they to fit?

The weird thing is that the mechanic said it was gushing out with power steering fluid but i look in the tank and it was full.
