...stupid question (GTT/Caldina Gearsticks)

Has anyone thought about (or bothered to) straighten the gearstick?

They seem to sit quite far to the left (3rd looks like where 1st should be) and I've always thought about bending it and making it straighter; so it felt (and more importantly looked) more normal.

Even with a lever, I reckon there would be tonnes of room between 5th and the handbrake.

The TRD quick shifter is straight, Driven Performance has them and thats straight and works very well
