How important is this?

This is on the end of the breather going into the tank. I assume it is to stop fuel from blocking up the breather when tank is full?

Im currently installing a bosch 040 and removing this will make the install alot easier. How important is it, bearing in mind that this is not a daily driven car and will pretty much never have a full tank of gas in it.

Car is ep82 starlet.

Dunno, but in the 101's they put in two, and I intend to keep both :)

its a spere part.. take it out and call it weight reduction!! :lol:

not sure weather or nnot its nessorsery tho, probly to stop overflow running out the pipe?
