Caldina downpipe flange type

Postby kim0663 » Mon Mar 23, 2009 12:44 pm

The bottom flange that meets the exhaust pipe. Is it meant to be a 2 bolt sprung flexi type flange (with like a dish looking exhaust pipe to allow for a bit of movement within the flange) ?

or a 3 bolt triangulated flange, the usual generic thing.

Im asking as i purchased a downpipe for a st215 from driven performance and er... the flange that bolts onto the turbo is for a st215 turbo yes. but bottom flange doesn't bolt in and it rather looks like one for a sw20 mr2 lol

Which is the correct one ?

Yeh the driven one is designed to be used on 3 bolt flange, they assume if your buying the downpipe you might as well replace the whole exhaust system from downpipe back.
