where to buy w5* rebuild kits ?

ive just swapped in my spare w55 and want to rebuild my old one now, its all in bits and needs syncros and bearings, where is the best place to go for these parts/kits ? ive heard toyota is a ripoff

can anyone help me out ?

i'd be VERY suprised if you can find the synchros anywhere else

If you check out the sponsors section there is a guy who does trade on toyota parts.
I payed like $40 each for the syncros in my E51 box.
usually they are around $70 a syncro.

bearings range from $30-60, so its not too bad.

can be cheaper to just buy another box....

I spend $400odd on bearings and didnt even touch my syncro's - wish i just bought another box TBO
1:15.4 around Pukekohe
13.63 @ 169kmph at Meremere
Fastest MK3 at Suprafest 08

if you can supply the details, someone like saeco bearings should be able to provide the bearings. no idea on prices though...
