Power upgrades for my Carina GT

Ok so my '97 Carina GT has the 20v Blacktop 4age and goes really well, but the desire for more power has caught on and have a few ideas as to what options might work:
- Keeping it NA and working the current engine with cams ect..
- Turbocharging the Blacktop 20v 4age
- Putting in a 4agze supercharged motor
- 3SGTE
- 7AGE/7AGTE

The Carina is sort of modelled on the Corona being 5 stud but it's 5x100.
Ultimately I would love a supercharged engine as I just love that supercharger wine and instant power.

Has anyone had much experience with the model and year of my Carina? (AT210 is the model)


Any advice in what power upgrades would be best would be most appreciated!

swap the motors,
sell the AW with the blacktop
???
Profit.

TBH though thats probably the best bang for buck way to get power. All the hard work is done.

What sort of budget?

as above, work out what you have to spend on it (realistically) then you can pick an engine. it all depends on what you can do yourself, what tou have to pay to have done and the time frame you want it done in
