Removing old windscreen sealant without scratching the metal

Postby Maximum » Mon Apr 13, 2009 12:22 pm

Hi,

I have the windscreen out of my project mr2, and i'm left with a load of old sealant still stuck to the car.

It is really stuck on well, and I've already spent way too long trying to remove it carefully with a pair of pliers/screwdriver/other random sharp object.
I really do not want to scratch the body getting this stuff off!

Surely there must be a better way...
Any ideas/suggestions?

I though of somehow liquid N2'ing it - but I'm not quite sure how I would bath it in N2...

Thanks,
-Rob-

Thanks very much- I did search, but I guess I was using the wrong keywords.
