4age twin carb ignition setup needed

did a search and didnt find much just wondering what and where to get one as the one in a mates car keeps blowing the after market ignitor setup he has had for ages was going to see if there any factory options to try

Not really, all adapted aftermarket stuff.


If he has one that is cooking igniters, best bet is to fix it,

My bet would be that he is not using heat transfer paste under the module and/or the heatsink is not big enough.

its one of the hyperpak ones he been thur about 3 so he said and i cant see why so was going to try another style as he just wants it going now heard there some place which mods 4k dizzys to work

Have seen that done and it is quite common, there is the two types,
ones with an internal and external module.

im currently THINKING about selling my 4age carb setup it made 92kwatw (must be a high reading dyno) pretty much under 5grand lol
getting bottled by the friendly Oamaru locals for not doing skids - Coupe Life

You can use the factory ecu/dizzy/sensors and run it that way. You will get a much nicer engine that way as the ign advance will be right. You will need to run a TPS on your carbs.
