toyota corolla levin ae101 4agze problem. HELP!

My car is making a crazy noise. i started it one day and it was making this crazy noise. like something banging agaist something else. kind of like a knocking noise, coming from the super charger area. sounds like something to do with the belts, pullys? Can any1 help me? what are these cars prone for? and what should i do?

Don't run the car as u might damage stuff. Pay a mobile mechanic or get someone with car knowledge to have a look at it.

it could be the clutch that engages the supercharger?
if you think its coming from there, put a screwdriver or something on the pulley or s/c and put your ear on the other end, it works!

yeah, i think maybe one of the lugs has come off?? or has just worn and has unbalanced. i shudnt run it because the lugs could cause engine damage. ive decided to take off the supercharger belt, then start it and see if it continues.
