Corolla GT Inner CV

Hi there,

Just wondering if anyone could help point me in the right direction as to where I can get a drivers side inner CV joint for a 1985 AE82 Corolla GT sedan (different to the FXGT unit - I have tried getting one from a wreckers already with no success). Failing that, where i should go to get the old one rebuilt. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Have a look in the sponsors section, there is a man there who works for toyota who may be able to get a good price for you

if you are in auckland, give the boys at ADL a ring. if they cant replace it they have the facilities to rebuild it.

they may be in other parts of the country too, dunno for sure

I vaguely recall having to do one of these on a friends car, I don't remember what side it was, but I do remember that we got the CV from Repco, and for some reason the manual one didn't work on the shaft, but the auto one did. (car was manual)

Thanks for the offer mate but mine is actually larger than the fxgt ones. Will go and see the boys at ADL within the next couple of days and hopefully get it sorted.
