There are a couple of Celica's up at Pick A Part (local scrapyard) and I'm looking at small upgrades for the ST185.
Brake Cylinder/Booster:
According to the EPC, various models of the ST20x came with the same master cylinder as the ST205.
Now brake master cylinders are different between the st185 and st205 according to the EPC and require the brake booster that matches up with each cylinder respectively.
What I am wondering is, is there any advantage to upgrading the brake master cylinder/booster to the st20x model over the st185.
I plan on running 4 pot brakes off a hilux surf or wilwood superlites (more likely the wilwoods).
I know there are diff bore sizes between the models, especially with ABS and the smaller bore on the st185 non abs, but what would be more ideal for my application?
Clutch Master Cylinder:
Same goes with the clutch master cylinder. Is there any advantage in using the newer st20x equipment over the old st18x equipment?
I have st205 gear box, so can salvage the slave cylinder off there if required. I already have to get the release fork swapped over.
If anything, I want to at least swap over reservoirs as mine are discoloured.. unless someone knows how to make the plastic white again.
Makes me wonder why I just didn't buy a faff from the beginning of this whole thing

Thanks
Dave
