aw11 mr2 frunk cable

hey!

the cable for the bonnet in my mr2 broke the other day with the bonnet shut.

does anyone know the eaisest way to open the bonnet without the cable and without destroying anything (angle grinder is tempting...)

you should be able to reach up between the front bumper and the radiator and pull on the lever that is usually actuated by the cable. It's been a while since I've looked in the front of a standard mr2, but I'm sure you'd be able to reach it somehow, or even unbolt the latch (3 bolts hold it to the chassis)
