sw20 powersteering fail SOLVED

Postby MR2BOY23 » Sun Oct 11, 2009 9:39 am

Gave my car a high pressure wash yesterday. As soon as I finished, jumped in and the p/s light was on and powersteering wasn't working... arrgh

Obviously its something electrical.. so I was wondering what it could possibly be? Before I take a look at it today give me something to work on

Thanks :D

Get in, and turn the key to on without starting it, then turn it off again. Repeat this many times. Its common for the relay to stick, and this usually seems to fix it.

It happened to me in mine about 18 months ago and has never occured again.

Check the PS relay I guess. :/ probably soaked.
No "stance", no "hellaflush", none of that bullshit. Nothing but no grip on full boost.
