Can anyone shed some light?

Just a few queries about my new car, have searched and googled to no avail.
1) There is a green switch under the dash near the ignition. it lights up, but i have no idea what it is doing. my mate has a 94 NA Supra with the same switch and it has been driving him nuts for years. There is a red nod illuminated one on the other side of the steering column.

2)Would a gt4 vented bonnet of the same year fit on my car? (i know i know, wank factor)

Any help would be appreciated guys!!

Green switch is possibly your fog lights
Not sure if currens have foglights?

nah my fog lights work off the indicator stalk. one wire goes to the shifter. does that help???

does it control one of those little telescopic bumper wand doofers with the little light on them. that are meant to show you where your bumper is so you dont drive into things (normally on the front lefthand side)

Don't look factory, didn't have neons or something at some point did it?

Take that panel off and see where the wire goes.

nope, no neons, one wire goes to the centre console, near the shifter. the switch is mounted in a factory recess tho...

keep following it, and yes if I was going to mount an aux switch I would use a factory cut out too.

Definitely does not look factory. Got a symbol on it? If not then it's certainly not stock

that is the best suggestion i have had so far...hmmm cant imagine my car all riced out....yuck
