Nissan Fuel Pump Question

Postby thegreatestben » Wed Oct 21, 2009 5:46 pm

I know there's a few people a bit clued up on nissans here.
I am in need of a bigger fuel pump for my new car.

I work at repco and had a browse through what we had on the shelf.
I found a fuel pump from a turbo R33 skyline.

Are these fuel pumps good for a turbo 4 cylinder?
They're only $160 bucks brand new so if it'd be up to the job I'll go with one of those :)

Looking at 220kw sort of power max

You could look at a walbro (or similar) they more than likely do a direct replacement for your factory pump. I dropped a 500-550hp Walbro direct replacment into my E9.

Other option is to see if a different/later model (200SX/GTIR/Bluebird Atessa SSS) does a higher flowing pump.

Have a dig through the Fuelmiser catalogue Ben, one of the high flow ones is actually a GSS500 Walbro fuel pump (aka 500hp one) and its quite reasonable at staff. Can never remember which bloody one though
1988 KE70 Wagon - Slowly rusting
1990 NA6 MX-5 - because reasons
2018 Ranger - Because workcar
1997 FD3S RX-7 Type R - all brap, all the time
OMG so shiny!
