Replacing bushes on SW20 rear sway bar?

Postby Adamal » Tue Oct 27, 2009 8:09 am

I'm thinking of doing this, but I've had a look under there before, and at a quick glance, it looks like you'd actually have to drop the subframe to do so. IE it would be a monumental pain in the ass to do so.

Has anyone ever replaced these before and found an easy way to do it? Or is lowering the subframe etc the only way?
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

Yeap it requires you to drop the subframe, but not by much, last time when I was messing with the bushes I got away by dropping the gearbox mount bolt, and the 4 subframe bolts (I think that's all you need?) and that'll lower the subframe enough for you to take the tabs out / bushes out.
No "stance", no "hellaflush", none of that bullshit. Nothing but no grip on full boost.
