Headlights for AE111 Trueno

Hi.

Quick question. Got someone on TM asking if my headlights will fit their 1997 BZG Trueno. His part number is 12420.

My headlight is of a 1995 BZV Trueno but part number 12421.

Neither of them are the crystal clear version but are the same headlight. Will mine still fit his car? I don't see why not but want to confirm.

no it won't, the head light corner next to the 'grill' (or what ever you call it, the piece thats got the levin/trueno badge) is different between prefacelift levins and trueno. It will still fit, but the bumper won't be fitting perfectly. the 'grill' part will stick out like a sore thumb.

Only facelift levin and trueno headlight will swap without issue.

Not only that but the wiring for the high beams are different between the facelift and prefacelift.

Anyone know the exact date of the facelift? Is their car facelift or just a 1997 pre-facelift?

If its pre-facelift then I see no problems.

arrrr, sorry i have mis read the original post..i thought you were trying to fit prefacelift Levin lights into prefacelift trueno lights...but now reading it again, both are prefacelift trueno lights, which will fit perfectly fine. Sorry
