removing st205 front bumper

Postby ihavelift » Fri Nov 13, 2009 4:39 pm

Hey I'm attempting to replace the foglight in the front of my celica (cheers anth_555) but I don't know how to get the bumper off (please, don't laugh). All I can find that are holding the bumper are the 2 bolts on the bottom.

Any suggestions? (no smartass comments thanks ...)

Lol cheers

There'll be fixings in all sorts of hard to get to places no doubt :P

Just search and undo screws until it falls off

very easy man -

take out the indicators - youll want to unplug them
take off the 4 or so bolts on the top strip

take off the lower tray bolts, the ones that holt the plastic gunder guards on
theres also 3 small bolts ither side of the front fender to bumper join you need to reove , these are an arse to get to - but a socket extensionof decent length and a universal joint can get itno it ..

Once these are off the bumper should slide out ..

if you want you can come over and see on my group A how its done - i can have it off in about 5 mins no :)
