Auto issue

Ok well at first the lantis did not want to go into any moving gear. It would stall. Initially was thought to be a valve body issue but I fired it up today and yea...a month later and it was going forwards and backwards again! Although when you are just coasting it from a standstill it starts to jump around a bit, nearly like driving a manual and letting the clutch out too fast.

I was wondering...does anyone know...could this be some kind of clutch type issue? I know nothing of autos but i thought if they had some kind of hydraulic clutch maybe it needs fluid or something? Can anyone clarify?
