GTT caldina speedo pickup

A friend asked me where the gtt caldina gets it speedo pickup from? I would have thought the gearbox but he reckons theres nothing on it, so can anyone help?

he is probably looking for speedo cable. Instead they have electronic pick up. It should be on the firewall side of the gearbox next to transfer case.
