RPM signal wire <Plz Help>

hey guys

Just wondering were to hook up the RPM signal wire on a taco on my 3k starlet kp. i tryed the back of the dizzy but the signal seems to be faulty, the gauge reads to high (like 3000rpm idle) and isnt smooth when you rev it,

yea i tryed that same thing happens as when i wired it to the back of the dizzy. says it can do 11000rpm :| lol

No switch on the back is there for 4,6,8 cyl?

11k for a 3k sounds pretty good though 8)
