why does my caldina gtt VSC light stays on after sub install

Postby dakine » Mon Jan 18, 2010 8:11 pm

Hey guys,

I just installed a new sub and amp in the car, ran the wires, plugged everything in, connected up the battery and all went fine.

It wasn't until I turned on the car and the VSC light came on and stayed on, the little skids next to it turned off but the letters VSC won't.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Mark

I had found this article (http://caldinafaq.blogspot.com/2006/06/ ... a-gtt.html) on putting a switch onto the VSC, but would like to know why its come on.

Next step is to go through and disconnect everything and hope that it goes off, pointing me to the fault and that something hasn't blown.

Check the codes by bridging pins TC & CG on the check connector, which is located below the steering wheel on the right side.
