is there 2 different ecu's available for the 1uz?
my brothers 1uz has different engine number to my 1uz???

Are the ECUs car dependant?

EG

1UZ soarer - ECU A
1UZ Aristo - ECU B
1UZ LS400 - ECU C
etc?

Yes, and some changed during years/models ie UCF11 Celsior had a different ECU than the later UCF21 Celsior
