Shocks

Postby NP » Sat Feb 27, 2010 3:56 pm

Hey, not sure if this is the right place to post this, so mods feel free to move it.

Anyway, my shocks are a bit worn out, and I've got some average aftermarket springs in there as well (unknown brand). So I want to replace my shocks and springs. I want to upgrade to something that'll handle better, and more comfy, and safer. I was thinking bilsteins or konis or something. The car's a GTT Caldina.

So basically, what are my options? Does anyone have a suspension shop they can reccommend? Anyone else upgraded their suspension and what was the result?

I don't want it to be low or hard - more comfy and handle bumps better is for me.

Thanks in advance!

Have a search and see what others have used, there are a few GT-T's with various shock/springs combos on here. Be hard pressed to go past Koni/Tein combo though

About the only thing that could top koni shocks and TEIN springs would be TEIN Flex suspension. But that's rather a lot more $$$

Cool, seems like the tien/koni combo is most popular.

Any other opinions out there? I had a quick search but most people say tien's the way to go.

Tein, ive got tein adjustables in my wagon and it goes around corners well, had tein springs before and cant fault them apart for not being low enough :-)

You can't go wrong with bilsteins, but that doesn't mean ones like Tein, etc. aren't going to do the same job just as well.
