Fuel Pump location

Postby Emz » Fri Apr 02, 2010 1:56 pm

Hi,

Just looking at where my fuel pump could fit, thinking about putting it above the diff. There is about 2cm clearance between the diff and pump. Does anyone forsee any potiental probs with this location??

When doing some mad skidz, your diff explodes and rips the fuel pump into a million bits, fuel spraying everywhere and lands on a hot exhaust, then proceeds to start a little bond fire then burn your car down to the ground.

Besides that, nah.
No "stance", no "hellaflush", none of that bullshit. Nothing but no grip on full boost.

Where is that in relation to your fuel tank? Pretty sure SX pumps are a push type pump, so would need to be as low as possible in relation to your tank. Will need to be fairly close too.
