Postby gleem » Fri Apr 23, 2010 9:14 pm

my power steering lines leaking were the rubber hose meets the metal line crimping. Tried everywere to get a replacement and pick a part 5 times. Only option now is really to go to a hydrolics shop. Any body know of cheap ones in auckland?

Took the banjo bolt of the trubo for the oil in feed and saw the size of the hole the goes from top to bottom is the size of a ball point pin tip. So all the oil that will go through the turbo has to come through this which just doesnt sound right. Is this what they normally are or shoud i drill it out a bit?

If its a factory Rb turbo (Ball beaing & ceramice turbine wheel) than yes leave it alone, if its not a factory unit and a normal Journal bearing turbo then yes drill it out.
