Caldina swap question, axle support struts

Postby speedracer07 » Wed May 05, 2010 6:59 am

not sure what it's called but on the sw20 3sgte there is a bearing that supports the driver side axle (passenger side in left hand drive cars). There are also 2 support tubes that bolt to the back of the block (one may go to the manifold?) that provide extra support.

Does anyone know if I can use either then Gen2 or Gen3 support strut parts with the Caldina 3sgte when using the Sw20 transmission? The mechanic that did my swap only used the bearing (which bolts to the block with 2 bolts) but did not install the support struts. My new mechanic noticed it was missing...

thanks!!
