AE101 Trueno orange light under Check Engine Light?

Postby sik_gt_starly » Mon Oct 04, 2010 3:25 pm

Drove my Trueno to/from Waihau bay for a weekend of fishing n hunting. On way home the light on dash under the check engine light (looks like a car with 3 dashes coming from each rear wheel and lights up orange) kept popping up for no apparant reason. Didnt notice it go into limp mode like when the engine check light comes on.

Anyone know what this means? ive had a search but no luck as i dont even know what that light is called, ive been trying to upload a pxt from my phone but stupid phone isnt doing what it should.

Cheers

It sounds like the Rear Light warning - check your tail light and brake light bulbs.

Is this.

By flicking on & off it sounds like you may have a lose connection somewhere.

remove your rear tail lights, check for lose / rusty type connections and possible blown bulbs
