Do TE37's require special wheel nuts

Postby goofysurf » Wed Oct 06, 2010 6:46 pm

Hey guys,

Possibly picking up a set of TE37's soon and I'm wondering if they require special wheel nuts or can I use the stock ones on my GT-Four RC for the TE37's?

Thanks

Yea I from memory the standard wheel nuts wont work...I think. I had to get an after market set for my AE111 to fit my work emotions.. got a nice set of rays engineering ones for $80.00

Plus they look loads better than the OEM ones 8)

My stock swift ones fitted my TE37s no worries, however stock GT4 ones (along with alot of toyota ones) wont fit. However if you dont care overly alot about the look of them, you can get new wheelnuts pretty cheap as they arent a specifc nut.

Unfortunately my BBS wheels werent as easy, even with no-brand wheelnuts it still cost me $8 a nut :?

They will work if they are taper, if the drop shank type like factory mag wheels have they will not work.

My BBS wheels use the tapered nuts so I had to buy more. MR2 uses the shank type. Luckily they were only $1.80 each. 8) The nut size also went down from 21 to 19.
