cert for adjustys, bigger turbos etc

Postby h8wrxs » Sat Dec 11, 2010 11:58 pm

ive fitted some bc gold adjusties to my evo and am about to fit a bigger turbo next week, and plan on getting a half cage fitted in the new year

the warrant has run out so i need to get cert to get it legal again

my questions are:

where do i get it certified in chch

what does it cost

what does it involve

if i get it certed for the adjustys and turbo in a weeks time, then will i have to get it re-certed again next year when i fit the half cage, and will i have to pay full price for it again or do you get some kind of discount etc?

cheers

Wayne martin @ vehicle certifications on main south road (there is a Yamaha shop out the front)
or don hoff on stewart street i think just off moorhouse (across the road from about sound)

about $400 ish

take a failed WOF sheet in, they look the car over, ask what you want on the plate, if its al good will pass, if not get 3 months to fix it. then all done.

no, dont need cert for half cage.

some lost posts?

You dont need a cert for the half cage. If your half cage fulfills the requirements of the car converted to a 2 seater, roll bars are xmm from your head etc etc it will pass a wof.

But if you want to do any msnz events on the circuit you will need it to be homologated which costs $105
