KE35 + Hilux Diff - Clearance issue

Postby lorolla24 » Wed Dec 15, 2010 4:52 pm

Hi,

KE35 with 50mm lowering blocks and early hilux diff.

Just wondering if more people have the problem of the hilux diff head being really close to the chassis? Mine has about 30mm clearance.Without the center bump stop.I can't get the bump back in beacuse it is to big.
When i push the back down with a good about of weight it hit's.

Any solutions?

Cheers

Cut out your diff tunnel and refit it a bit higher. Or if you dont want to go to those lengths use smaller lowering blocks.

If you dont like the higher ride height run some 13" wheels with low profile tyres. (If you can fit 13's over your brakes??)

All i can think of.
