KE20 aftermarket rear shock absorber options/setups

Postby NOLAW » Mon Mar 14, 2011 10:19 pm

Hey guys

time to pull finger and get this thing on the road.. so im in need of some new rear shock absorbers, they will be mounting to a hilux rear end (diff end shock mounts have not been fabricated yet) so if this widens my range of options then im all up for suggestions :D

currently the car has been lowered a good 2-3"s from factory (reset leafs and blocks) and could be going for another 1-2"s lower so will note this if this will effect what to get/do

cheers guys

i have seen people buy the BC ae86 adjusties and mod them to fit in KE's. would probly be my first option. the rears are just a telescopic type shock with adjustable dampner and rebound i believe, that mount in similar to the factory item.
