Nissan Serena sunroof leak

Postby TOYGT4 » Sat Mar 26, 2011 7:56 am

Hey peeps, wondering if anyone knows where the drainage tubes for a Nissan Serena sunroof and moon roof are located and how to get to them? Which panels to remove etc? Not really a Toyota but is the in laws ex family car that we're now trying to sell, so to do so I'm giving it a going over and attempting to fix as much of it as possible... It's a diesel turbo automatic which doesn't like to change gears when it's supposed to either so if anyone knows how to fix that I'd be hugely greatful too! Speedo is broken too tho think that shouldn't be too hard to sort, fingers crossed it's a loose cable...

All that and it's only done 120-130 ks! Go figure, shuda been a Toyota lol! Then wouldn't have anything to fix haha...

Check all of your vacuum lines. You may have 1 that has come loose or been left off by a mechanic, Also seen a vacuum line get squished by the seat cause it was routed wrong.

Unfortunately speedo could be the actual cluster, the one in my terrano is farked (speedo and tacho are both stuffed) and apparantly is a very common problem.

Speedo will be disconnected to save on road users, Sunroof drain tubes usually go down front and rear pillars and come out at the sill, the one way valve at the end of tube often get blocked, clean out with a piece of wire.Could be worth getting the auto flushed and refilled with new ATF.
