ST215 brake bleeding/hydraulic fluid replace

Postby xsspeed » Fri May 06, 2011 12:23 pm

Hey Guys,

I want to bleed the mrs' brakes in her Caldina Gt (St215g), it passed warrant but on hard stops the brake is bottoming out and a bit spongy.

Just wanted to check how are the brakes circuited, and can I bleed as per normal (one brake at a time till new fluid comes through) or do I need to do something different (car has ABS so not sure on circuiting and have read about bleeding issues with double acting master cylinders???)

A quick run through of how I should do it would be appreciated. Done plenty of bleeds on my corolla's but they are all pre ABS.

Cheers
