Can anyony tell me the specs on what hight my low beams should be set to? just failed a wof due to being to high so need to know how to measure ready for retest

Not their job, you're also not paying them to do it. If they break your new facelift lights trying to adjust them would you expect them to pay to fix them? I wouldn't touch a car either if I was them, why take on more liability than you have to. my2c

Just park against a wall and adjust them down a bit. I don't think there will be any measurement as all headlights will be at different heights. Go for retest, if you fail adjust it more while getting test done. Sorted.

No, there are very specific settings. The height on the majority of vehicles makes no difference. A drop of between 1-1.5% is the requirement for most vehicles and its often written on the lenses.

Park 3 metres away from a wall. Measure the height from the ground to the bulb. Mark this same height on the wall and measure down 30-45mm. Thats where the cutoff of the light should be. Failing that, go somewhere that does warrant who is actually a GC and would do it for you to save the hassle.

Send your car in with a specimen of the female variety and they will adjust them for her then pass the wof.
